Since 2005, I had been self employed working at Farmer's Markets along with opening a retail store in SWFL for my small business named Ruff Life. In 2013, I was approved to start my 501C3 non profit called Ruff Life Charities where I was helping local families with rescued dogs with emergency treatments and other family needs.
After closing my store, I positioned my company to sell my items on Amazon and was working on my nutritional products before Covid19 hit the world and changed the direction of my life and company.
Sadly, my companies closed in 2021 after 10+ years of serving my local dog community.
I was forced to get back out on the employment market, I was offered a job at a new indoor PB club. As part of my job, I needed to learn how to play pickleball and play with members. I was completely hooked!
I have been playing pickleball since 2023 and recently got my teaching certification in March 2025. I specialize with teaching beginners and novice players.
I started teaching with a few local HOA's and my own community in Bradenton FL and now inside at Dill Dinkers in Sarasota, FL.
My service areas are Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota.
